Why seal?
Central Oregon is hard on asphalt. Sun, snow and big temperature swings break it down year after year. Here’s what sealing protects you from.
Bend nights drop below freezing for much of the year, then the sun warms things up again. Water gets into small cracks, freezes, expands and pries them wider. Crack filling and sealcoat keep that water out.
At our elevation the UV is strong. It dries out asphalt, fades it to grey and makes it brittle. A fresh coat shields the surface and brings back the deep black.
Plows, shovels and road cinders scrape at your driveway all winter. Sealcoat takes that wear so the asphalt underneath doesn't.
Sap and oil soften asphalt and leave stains. A sealed surface sheds them more easily and is far easier to keep clean.
Sealing is routine maintenance, like oil changes for your driveway. Keeping up with it helps asphalt last longer and puts off the much bigger bill of tearing it out.
A fresh black driveway makes the whole property look cared for. It matters even more if you're selling, renting or hosting guests.

How it works
No pressure, no mystery charges. You'll know the price and the plan before we open a bucket.
We come out and walk your asphalt, checking for cracks, sap and oil spills.
Based on what we find, we help you choose the sealant that's right for your surface: Blackjack or Ultra Shield.
On job day we trim the edges, blow the surface off and clean up any sap or oil with whatever it takes. We don't seal until it's fully prepped and blown clean.
We apply the sealant across the whole surface, edge to edge.
Once the sealant sets you can walk on it in about 5 to 7 hours and drive on it in about 24 hours, depending on the size of the job.
Pricing
Your price is the sealcoat rate times the area we're sealing, plus labor, crack repair and your choice of sealant.
